As we wrap up 2025, our team has been reflecting on all the moments – big and small – that shaped this past year. It was a FULL season, in the very best way, and looking back has reminded us just how grateful we are for every couple, vendor, small business, and community member who made this year meaningful!
While weddings will always be at the heart of what we do, 2025 also brought new opportunities, new relationships, and a few big milestones behind the scenes. Here’s a look at some of our favorite highlights from the year.
Some of our favorite memories from this year came from the quiet, unplanned moments – the deep breaths before walking down the aisle, the way couples lit up when they finally saw each other, parents hugging their grown kids just a little tighter, and bridal parties cheering as the day officially began.
These are the kinds of moments we get to witness up close, and they’re always a reminder of why we care so much about what we do.

No two ceremony setups were the same this year, and we loved seeing how couples made the space feel like theirs. From colorful floral installations to classic neutral palettes and simple outdoor settings, each design reflected the personalities of the people standing in front of us.
No matter how big or small the ceremony was, every single one felt meaningful.

This year brought some incredibly thoughtful reception designs – long tables lined with candles, bud-vase clusters that felt both simple and elevated, and layouts that helped guests feel connected. We also saw some of the most energetic dance floors ever.
It was a good reminder that the heart of a reception always comes back to guests being together and celebrating the couple.

One of the most meaningful community moments this year was hosting the very first Downtown Stroll in partnership with the City of Cibolo (my hometown!).
Local small businesses shared that they wanted a day dedicated to visibility and connection, and getting to help create that space was such an honor. Seeing families explore downtown, enter raffles, shop local, and support one another made the whole event feel incredibly special.
This spring, we officially joined the Schertz–Cibolo–Selma Area Chamber of Commerce and marked the moment with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Standing alongside so many supportive local business owners, city leaders, and friends was a highlight of our year. It reminded us how grateful we are to be part of a community that truly shows up for one another.

One of the biggest additions to Moments by Maddie this year was launching our photo booth, and we’ve loved the way guests have embraced it!
It showed up at weddings and parties of all kinds, and we loved seeing how our clients and guests interacted with this new experience. Whether it was couples sneaking in for a late-night photo strip or entire families squeezing in together, it brought such a fun layer to the day.
We can’t wait to see where it goes in 2026!

Alongside weddings, we had the chance to support more corporate events this year. These projects allowed us to step into a slightly different role – still focused on thoughtful planning and guest experience, but with an emphasis on team connection and brand-forward details.
It stretched our creativity in new ways, and we loved being part of these events.

One of the sweetest parts of the year didn’t take place at a wedding at all – it was our own team holiday gathering. Between events, installs, timelines, and all the moving pieces that happen behind the scenes, it was nice to slow down together, decorate cookies, and enjoy a moment of calm before the new year.
This team is the heartbeat of everything we do, and taking a little time to celebrate them was really special!
Behind the scenes, this was a milestone year for Moments by Maddie.
✨ We launched a brand-new website design
✨ We introduced a blog page full of articles to serve our couples even more intentionally
✨ We launched our Pinterest profile (and have already watched so many of our weddings reach new audiences!)
✨ And I stepped away from my full-time job to focus all of my attention on Moments by Maddie
These were big decisions and big steps, and we’re so grateful for every client and vendor who encouraged us along the way.
One of the highlights of the year on a personal level was getting to share that our family is growing. We’re expecting a little one in 2026, and the amount of encouragement and kindness we’ve received from our couples, vendors, and community has meant so much!
It’s been a really special season, and we’re grateful to be able to step into this next chapter with so much support around us.

As we head into 2026, our team is feeling so grateful. This past year brought a lot of growth, new relationships, and meaningful moments, and we’re thankful for every couple, vendor partner, and community member who trusted us along the way!
With a full calendar, ongoing community events, and new projects already in motion, we’re looking forward to stepping into the new year with intention. And with a new baby arriving in 2026, it’s an especially sweet season for our family. We truly appreciate all the support that’s been shared during this time.
We’re excited for the celebrations ahead and honored to continue serving the couples and community who make this work so special!
