Pop the Champagne: A Toast to 2024 and What’s on the Horizon for 2025

As we say goodbye to another incredible year, I can’t wait to share a re-cap of our 2024!  We’re so proud to have been a part of 55 weddings this year, with each bringing its own unique memories, unforgettable moments, and joy!  From intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations, this year has been a testament to the power of creativity and collaboration within our team and with our amazing clients.

So, as we welcome 2025 with open arms, it feels only right to raise a glass and take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished, and everything that’s yet to come🥂…

A Year of Growth and New Adventures

In 2024, we had the honor of working at over 10 new venues!  Working at new venues is always an adventure! Each new location provides an opportunity to learn the space and how to utilize it best for our clients.  We’re so grateful to have been introduced to these new venues and look forward to coming back to them soon!

It wasn’t just the venues that made 2024 so special – it was the incredible vendors we had the pleasure of working with. From photographers who captured every moment to florists who created stunning arrangements, I feel so grateful for the talented individuals I get to collaborate with. 2025 is already shaping up to be another exciting year, and I can’t wait to work with so many of you again and discover even more amazing vendors to partner with!

One of the highlights of this year was being invited to be a guest on the Tipsy Guest Podcast. It’s always so fun to share insights, tips, and stories from behind the scenes of wedding planning with a wider audience, and I can’t wait for that episode to air at the beginning of 2025. Stay tuned—it’s going to be a fun one! 😁

Trends We Loved

One of the most exciting things about wedding planning is how each year brings new trends with design. In 2024, there was a noticeable shift from neutral tones to vibrant, bold color palettes. Couples embraced rich, hot hues like poppy red, sunset oranges, and golden yellows, creating a stunning contrast to the classic whites and greens that have dominated weddings in the past. It was so fun to see couples use color to express their personalities!

Another trend that was very noticeable in 2024 was the emphasis on elevated guest experiences. Couples really went above and beyond to ensure their guests felt special and engaged. From personalized favors to interactive entertainment, there was a real focus on creating memorable experiences that left everyone talking long after the party was over.  

Growing Our Team and Expanding Our Services

This year wasn’t just about weddings—it was also about expanding our services and growing our team. We welcomed new faces into the Moments by Maddie family, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue building a team that shares my passion for making every event fun, stress-free, and full of unforgettable moments.

In addition to weddings, we also expanded into prom planning, which has been an exciting new venture. Planning an event for high school seniors is such a different challenge from weddings, but it’s been so rewarding to help create magical moments for young people on such an important day in their lives.

We also brought on the incredibly talented Halle (@socialsbyhalle) as our new content creator, who has been an absolute game-changer. With her fresh perspective and eye for detail, she’s been instrumental in capturing and sharing the magic that happens at each of our events.

A Special Thank You

Before we head into next year, I want to express my gratitude to our incredible couples who trusted us to bring their visions to life this year.  To all of our clients, past, present, and future—thank you for choosing us. 🩷 Thank you for letting us be part of your story, for trusting us to handle the details, and for allowing us to create moments that truly matter! 

2024 also brought a special honor—Moments by Maddie was voted The Knot’s Best of Weddings for 2024! 🎉 While this may seem like a small win in the grand scheme of things, it means the world to us to know that our hard work and dedication to creating stress-free, unforgettable moments is being recognized. Thank you to everyone who made that possible!

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we look to 2025, I’m so excited about what’s ahead!  We’re kicking off the year with a destination wedding in Las Vegas this January (hello, neon lights and the Strip!🎲), followed by more beautiful weddings in the Dallas area and a few elevated, high-end events that are sure to be unforgettable. I’m so excited to continue growing, creating, and making magic for my couples—and I can’t wait to see how 2025 unfolds!

So, here’s to 2024: the weddings, the memories, the growth, and all the magic that happened. And here’s to 2025: the new adventures, the creative moments, and the countless celebrations waiting to unfold.
